This Privacy Policy applies to BP Home (package name: com.log.blood.pressure.home, referred to as the “App”). The developer and data controller is Gamer Pross. For privacy-related questions, contact info@umitaka.co.jp.
This Policy describes the information the App may process, how that information is used, where it is stored, when limited information may be handled by service providers, and the choices available to you.
1. Health-Related Disclaimer
BP Home is designed to help you record, organize, and view personal health-related information.
If you grant camera permission and actively start the heart-rate estimation feature, the App may use the device camera and, where supported, the device light to estimate heart rate from changes in a fingertip signal. This estimate is provided for general wellness and personal reference only.
Except for this camera-based estimation feature, the App does not independently measure blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, or other health indicators. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or medical monitoring. App-generated estimates, information, and records are not a substitute for professional medical advice or measurements obtained with medical-grade equipment. Do not rely on the heart-rate estimation feature for medical decisions, emergencies, or the detection or monitoring of a health condition.
2. Information You May Provide or the App May Process
Depending on the features you use, the App may process the following categories of information:
Optional profile details. You may choose to enter your gender, age, and height. These fields are optional, and the App’s core functions can be used without completing them.
Health and activity records. You may enter or maintain records such as heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, water intake, BMI, and step count.
Device and technical information. The App and its service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, device model, operating-system version, device language, app-usage statistics, crash information, performance logs, advertising identifier (GAID), installation events, and app-launch events.
Launchable application information. To support launcher-related functions, the App may identify launchable applications on your device, including app names, package names, and launch-entry information. This information supports local app-drawer display, search, quick launch, shortcuts, and recommendations.
3. Purposes of Processing
The information described above may be used to operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the App, including to:
- display health and activity records;
- provide trend analysis;
- operate the launcher interface and app search;
- manage applications and support quick launching;
- create shortcuts and recommendations;
- diagnose technical problems;
- analyze performance and improve stability;
- measure advertising effectiveness;
- perform anti-fraud checks; and
- generate attribution and installation statistics.
Health information that you enter is used for the App’s record-keeping, display, and related wellness functions. It is not used by the App to provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
4. Local Storage and Data Retention
Your profile information and health or activity records are stored locally on your device by default.
The App does not provide cloud storage or online synchronization for your user records. These records remain on the device unless you choose to export them manually or otherwise remove them.
You may delete locally stored App data by clearing the App’s data through your device settings or by uninstalling the App. If a third-party provider has independently processed technical or advertising-related information, that provider’s retention practices are governed by its own privacy policy, and uninstalling the App may not automatically remove information already processed by that provider.
The App allows you to export data manually.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party analytics, attribution, and advertising services. These providers may process non-personal or technical information, including device model, operating-system version, IP address, advertising identifier, installation events, and app-launch events, according to their respective privacy policies:
- Google Firebase: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- AppsFlyer: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy/
- AdMob: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- AppLovin: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
- Pangle: https://www.pangleglobal.com/privacy
- Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
- Mintegral: https://www.mintegral.com/en/privacy
- Unity: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Liftoff: https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/
The personal information and health records that you enter into the App are not shared with these third parties. Advertising SDKs used by the App do not access personal information or health records stored locally on your device.
The App does not sell or rent user data.
6. Cloudflare Cloud Configuration
The App uses Cloudflare to store and distribute cloud-based configuration parameters that control certain client-side behavior. These parameters may include feature flags, display logic, runtime parameters, or service policies.
To deliver these configuration parameters, Cloudflare may process the network requests and technical information necessary for the request, such as your IP address and basic device or network information.
This configuration function does not upload your personal privacy data or health data. It is separate from the App’s local storage of your health and activity records.
Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy is available at:
https://www.cloudflare.com/policies/privacy/
7. Permissions and Device Access
The App requests access only when needed for the relevant feature. You may revoke permissions through your device’s system settings.
Installed-app visibility. Access to information about installed or launchable apps is used for the app drawer, app search, quick launch, shortcut creation, and recommendations.
Camera and device light. Camera access is requested only after you actively start the heart-rate estimation feature. The camera and, where supported, the device light are used to detect fingertip signal changes and generate an estimated heart-rate reading.
Camera signals are analyzed temporarily on the device and are not retained after the estimation is completed. The App does not take or save photographs or videos. Camera images, video content, and raw camera signals are not uploaded to the developer’s servers or disclosed to third parties.
Results may be inaccurate or unavailable because of factors such as device model, camera or light performance, finger placement, movement, surrounding conditions, and other circumstances. Prolonged use of the device light may cause the device or the area around the light to become warm. Stop using the feature if you experience discomfort or if the device becomes unusually hot.
Notifications. Notifications may be used to remind you to record health data or to provide feature or summary notifications. You may disable notifications at any time in the App’s settings, where available, or in your device’s system settings.
Health data access. Health-data access is used only to read step-count information for activity tracking and trend display. Step-count information accessed for this purpose is not shared with third parties.
8. Uninstalling the App or Changing the Default Launcher
You may uninstall the App through Google Play or your device’s system settings.
If BP Home is set as your default Home app, switch to another launcher in the system default-app settings before uninstalling it. You may also restore your preferred launcher by selecting another Home app in those settings.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information stored locally by the App. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, do not use the App or provide information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. International Data Transfers
If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, certain technical information may be processed outside your region, including in the United States, through providers such as Firebase, AdMob, Facebook, or AppLovin.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, the relevant provider may rely on a recognized legal mechanism, which may include an adequacy decision, approved standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism under applicable data-protection law. The mechanism may vary depending on the provider and processing location.
You may contact us at the address below if you would like further information about transfer mechanisms relevant to your informations.
