Questions, answered

Know what BP Home is—and what it is not.

Clear product boundaries are part of a better experience. If you need more detail, the full policy covers data handling, permissions, and third-party services.

Is BP Home a medical device?

No. BP Home is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or medical monitoring. App-generated estimates, information, and records are for general wellness and personal reference only.

Does the app measure blood pressure or blood sugar?

Except for the optional camera-based heart-rate estimation feature, the app does not independently measure blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, or other health indicators. You can enter or maintain records for personal reference.

Where are my records stored?

Profile information and health or activity records are stored locally on your device by default. The app does not provide cloud storage or online synchronization for user records.

Why might the app request camera access?

Only after you actively start the heart-rate estimation feature. The camera and, where supported, the device light are used temporarily on the device to estimate heart rate from fingertip signal changes. Images, video content, and raw camera signals are not uploaded or retained.

Can I use the app without completing my profile?

Yes. Gender, age, and height are optional profile details, and the app’s core functions can be used without completing them.
